2.5D Storyboarding
I have learned the cutting-edge storyboarding technique known as 2.5D storyboarding. This technique is just beginning to revolutionize the way we storyboard and animate in ways that standard industry software cannot.
Take a two dimensional animatic and apply it to a 3D scene!

Blender’s “Grease Pencil” allows you to integrate 2D drawings into a 3D plane! Most storyboarding techniques are limited to drawing on a 2D plane.
Grease Pencil allows you to utilize dynamic camera movements, which is particularly useful for action-heavy and complex scenes.
It allows you freedom and Flexibility to explore shots “on location” much like a live-action film maker.
Don’t like the shot? simply explore different angles and reposition the camera to experiment with angles, framing, and composition to find which composition suits your taste (Gif of me adjusting the viewport.)
*It allows me to provide the client with options and variety, while streamlining efficiency, eliminating unnecessary time, revisions, and saving money. (3 gifs of 711 from diff angles)

Want to Zoom in or out? (gif of zooms)
Pan as you please! (gif of panning)
What about depth of field? (gif of you adjusting depth of field)
You can even adjust the focal length/camera mm. (Gif of skate adjusting camera mm) Something that standard storyboarding software is not capable of.
What about a combination of camera movements? (Skate original)
